A weekend exploration in NLP prompted the creation of Lattice – a news aggregator. I typically spend a fair amount of time on news sites at lunch reading articles. Its slow and laborious. Lattice is a project I’m developing to apply some basic NLP principles for news aggregation and prioritization of articles. Currently Lattice organises data from various sources in a textual table representation with colouring following the word frequencies observed in articles, but I plan to add several other features and several analytics to be exposed to readers.
